This screencast walks through the steps required to scale out an existing ScaleCloud private cloud environment. The compute, network and storage resources will become available to the whole logical cloud. The original ScaleCloud appliance becomes the ‘Controller Node’ and will manage instance and volume deployments across all available hypervisors. It is also possible to aggregate host appliances in to Availability Zones. This allows grouping of physically dispersed ScaleCloud appliances. Instances can be migrated between physical hosts for Disaster Recovery and Backup purposes. Creating Snapshots of instances is also a great method of ensuring there are multiple copies of the same instance available on multiple physical ScaleCloud appliances.
